What kind of future are we making?

Every day, Arizonans make decisions that shape the future of our state, of our region, of the United States of America, of the global trajectory. Not only our policy decisions, but also our labor, and even our leisure dollars help direct the future. So, how do we know what kind of future we are making?

What are the determinants of Arizona's future? How economically competitive are we? How well are we educating our children? Are we maintaining the advantages of our climate and natural environment? Right now, Arizona is not sufficiently equipped to answer such questions and, therefore, to make informed decisions.

The Arizona Indicators Project is a collaboration of Arizona State University, the Arizona Community Foundation, the Arizona Department of Commerce, and the Arizona Republic.

This site provides raw data on metro Phoenix and the State of Arizona as well as graphs, tables, and maps to help navigate the interconnected networks of the data as we live it every day.
