In this section, measures of the overall size and growth of the state and counties are presented. These consist of estimates of the population and of the components of population growth.
Other demographic indicators historically have been available only every 10 years, from the decennial census, and currently are not included in the dashboard. In a few years, the American Community Survey will provide annual updates, which will be added to this dashboard.
