Academic Progress
In order to demonstrate Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP), a high school district in Arizona must:
- Administer the AIMS test to 95 percent of its students, including all applicable subpopulations
- Increase the percentage of students who meet or exceed state standards on the AIMS test from the previous year
- Report a 70.5 percent graduation rate or a 1 percent improvement in graduation rate over the preceding year
In order to demonstrate Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP), a high school district in Arizona must:

- Report a 94 percent district-wide attendance rate or a 1 percent improvement in attendance rate over the preceding year
