This subcategory alternatively is titled “Business Dynamism” or “Competitiveness” in some studies. Innovative economies are more likely to be competitive and to create a greater proportion of business starts, business failures, and fast-growing businesses.
The Dynamism subcategory of the Innovation Indicators dashboard includes two indicators. One identifies fast-growing businesses while the other measures the numbers of Establishment Births and Deaths.
