Carbon Monoxide

This page displays the yearly carbon monoxide exceedences in Maricopa County from 1996 to 2006. The majority of carbon monoxide is produced by automobile and industrial activity and is life threatening at high doses. It has been identified by the EPA as an indicator of regional environmental health. An exceedence is recorded when an 8-hour average is greater than 9 parts per million.
