Homeless Population

Description:

A person is considered homeless who lacks a fixed, regular, and adequate night-time residence. The number of people who are homeless has increased since the economic downturn due in part to high unemployment and a record breaking number of foreclosures. In other cases, domestic violence causes people to seek safety in shelters. Presently, families is the fastest growing homeless category both nationally and in Arizona.
